Even though some governments may allow you to remove up to 70% of a grain and still call it whole grain, the science is clear….

Bran is only one of the nutritionally important components of whole grain.  The Germ and endosperm is packed with disease fighting nutrients like antioxidants and phytochemicals.

Fact is ...

Our brown rice is made from the whole grain – 100 % of it.  In addition we are a kosher certified organic producer and use only non GMO rice for the entire range of our rice pasta products.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Currently, our products are stamped with a 5-digit julian date code where the first 3 digits represent the day of the year and the last two digits is the year when the product was packed (i.e. 03010 = the 30th day of 2010, or Jan 30).

The shelf life of Celifibr cubes has been tested and at the equivalent of 8 years the product was still edible with the same nutrition profile as recently produced products. We maintain a low moisture content to limit biological activity. There is no expiry date as it is not considered a perishable product but we recommend using Celifibr soup cubes 5 years from date code and our pastas 2 years from date code.

Our instant meal cups have a shelf life of 18 months and are labeled with the best before date on the bottom of the cup.
